THE CLAIM IS THEIRS. THE RECORD IS INDEPENDENT.
The standard exists so a public record can be inspected without relying only on the person, model, organization or platform whose reputation or revenue may depend on the claim.
What the record means
A record reflects the evidence attached to a claim and its resulting history. It is evidence, not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of future performance.
Preservation timing
An eligible pre event record is preserved before the relevant event begins or outcome is known. The preserved time remains with the record so later viewers can distinguish evidence that existed beforehand from a result reported afterward.
The timing standard is about when the record existed, not whether the prediction was correct.
What a timestamp means
A vaultverified.app timestamp establishes when that record was preserved by vaultverified.app. It does not by itself prove authorship, identity, ownership of an external account or complete coverage of everything a source has ever said.
Record integrity
What was said remains attached to what happened. Corrections can be documented without silently rewriting the history.
Observed public profiles
vaultverified.app may organize eligible publicly available claims into an observed public profile so the evidence can be inspected as a history. An observed listing does not mean the named person, model, organization, platform or publisher created the profile, approved it, endorsed vaultverified.app or has a commercial relationship with vaultverified.app.
Claiming a profile does not rewrite the record.
Coverage and absence
The public record reflects evidence actually preserved by vaultverified.app. It should not be read as a claim that every statement made by a person or system has been captured. Missing evidence is not automatically evidence that a claim was never made.
Public counts
Public counters describe records currently available for public inspection. A preserved total may be larger than the number currently shown publicly. Public counts should be read as a view of available evidence, not as a disclosure of internal operations.
Neutrality
Payment does not improve a result, create credibility, remove an unfavorable outcome or change the public record. Paid products provide presentation, access and commercial utility around the evidence.
Self reported history
A self kept record can be accurate. Self reported history is presented as self reported.
Corrections, identity review and disputes
Questions about attribution, identity, duplicate profiles, source evidence, event resolution or other published information can be submitted to methodology@vaultverified.app. Unclear evidence should remain unclear until it can be resolved. A correction can be documented without silently erasing the prior state.
